1. Acceptance of Policy

1.1. Vaniday Singapore Pte Ltd (“Vaniday”) is responsible for processing your personal data obtained through https://www.vaniday.com.sg, https://www.vaniday.com, https://www.vanizine.com (collectively, the “Platforms”). Vaniday is committed to protecting the privacy of all users (Customers and Partners) and visitors of the Platforms and/or using its services.

1.2. Vaniday complies with all applicable laws and regulations regarding personal data protection, including the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable international regulations.

1.3. By visiting our Platforms and/or using our services, you agree and give consent to the processing, use, and/or transmission by Vaniday of your personal data as described in this Privacy & Cookies Policy (“P&C Policy”). If you do not agree to the terms of this P&C Policy, please do not use the Platforms and/or our services.

2. Processing Your Data

2.1. When you register as a user and create an account and/or make a booking, you will be asked to provide personal information including your name, email address, phone number, postal address, and payment details. This personal data is securely processed by Vaniday and used for the administration and operation of the Platforms, our services, and the services provided by the Partner to whom Vaniday may transfer the information provided.

2.2. Vaniday may also keep track of general (non-personal) visitor data on the Platforms as well as data you voluntarily provide (including reviews, feedback, customer service messages, and emails).

2.3. Vaniday may collect technical data such as IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, and app usage statistics. If you enable location services, we may process location data to improve service accuracy.

2.4. Our mobile applications use third-party SDKs for functions such as analytics, push notifications, and secure payment processing. These third parties may collect limited device and usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

3. Use of Your Information

3.1. Vaniday will not contact or solicit the existing clientele of the salon partner except on the partner’s behalf, via transactional or marketing communications, or if the customer also has an active Vaniday account.

3.2. Your personal data enables us to:

Provide access to relevant parts of the Platforms

Supply the services you request

Send booking confirmations and appointment reminders

Communicate service updates or changes

Improve our services and user experience

Conduct statistical and analytical research

3.3. Where you have indicated, Vaniday may also contact you for feedback, notify you about important developments, or send marketing messages (email, SMS, push notifications).

3.4. With your consent, Vaniday may share your personal data with carefully selected third parties who may contact you about products or services of interest.

3.5. For payment processing and booking fulfillment, Vaniday may transfer your data to Partners and secure payment service providers such as Stripe Inc.

3.6. You can withdraw consent for marketing or third-party sharing at any time by contacting Vaniday (see Section 10).

3.7. Recipients who no longer wish to receive newsletters or promotional emails can click “UNSUBSCRIBE” in any email from Vaniday.

3.8. Your personal data will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this P&C Policy or as required by applicable law (see Section 6.4).

4. Disclosure of Your Information

4.1. Your personal data will be stored on secure servers. Access is restricted to authorised Vaniday staff and trusted service providers.

4.2. Your data may be shared with:

Partner salons or service providers for booking fulfilment

IT hosting, analytics, customer support, and payment vendors

Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights

Third parties in the event of a business sale, merger, or acquisition

4.3. Vaniday ensures that all third parties process your personal data in compliance with applicable laws and under confidentiality agreements.

5. Cookies

5.1. Vaniday uses cookies and similar technologies to improve site functionality, remember user preferences, analyse traffic, and deliver relevant content.

5.2. You may refuse cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the Platforms may not function properly.

5.3. Cookies do not contain sensitive personal data such as full payment details.

6. Security and Data Retention

6.1. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption, secure storage, and access controls.

6.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials.

6.3. While we strive to protect your data, no internet transmission can be guaranteed as 100% secure.

6.4. Retention: We retain personal data only as long as necessary for service provision, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.

6.5. Account & Data Deletion:

Log into your account and select Settings > Delete Account, or

Email contact@vaniday.com.sg with the subject “Account Deletion Request”

We will process your request within 30 days, subject to applicable retention obligations.

7. Accessing and Updating Your Data

7.1. You may request access to the personal data we hold about you.

7.2. You may correct or update your information by logging into your account or contacting Vaniday (see Section 10).

8. Children’s Privacy

Vaniday does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the minimum age required by law in your jurisdiction). If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to this Policy

Vaniday reserves the right to update this P&C Policy. Changes will be posted on the Platforms, and material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification.
